Pentecost

Today is the Feast Day of Pentecost!  On this day the Apostles and Mary The Mother of God, were praying a Novena, awaiting the fullfilment of the promise Jesus Himself had made them, that He would send the Paraclete!  This was the beginning of what would be a wondrous demonstration of the power of God.  As they completed their prayers, a mighty wind filled the room they were in, and tongues of fire burned upon their heads!  And, they, each of them, spoke different languages, preaching the Gospel to those learned and fervent Israelites, who coming from many different and far away lands, were there to participate in the feast of Pentecost..  There is a reason God chose to make this event so very memorable and visible.  It is because, God chose to make His Church the way through which we must go in order to save our very souls.  Saying this more clearly, "there is no way to attain Heaven, outside of this Church, which is Catholic".  In other words, God sent down the Holy Spirit, with a mighty wind, and tongues of fire, a very, very, dramatic and miraculous event that all could see!  And, even today, we can see, just by reading our bibles and through Holy Tradition, that God began His Church on this day, over two thousand years ago.  Gods Church is visible!!!  His truth is there for all to see, it is not private..  It is a truth that all must believe together, at the very least, believing rightly those things which pertain to our very salvation!  Christianity is NOT an obscure religion where several people decide on their own, out of nowhere what is true and what is not.  So, why is it that people do not labor to find out where the Church of Christ is?  Why do people believe that Christ's Church is not visible?  Why do people deny the Catholic Church as the Church of Christ, the Body of Christ?  

 After having been a Protestant for many years, i know what it is like.I know why many remain in this man made institution, where many are lead to beleive that they are worshiping the One true God.  Some of the reasoning can be attributed to blindness, complacency, and fear. However,To put it simply, there is One God, One Church, And One Body of Christ, as the Bible says.  Jesus is not in the various protestant sects, who get perhaps one part of His truth right,here and there.  Because if you look at the book of Acts, Jesus Church believes everything in unison, living in common together, worshiping One Christ.If you look at the Protestant Church, each group, claims for themselves a different Christ, which simply cannot be. If you look at 1 Corinthians 12, Jesus Church is a Body, with all of its members, working in unison as any body must.  And just like a body, it operates through a hierarchy, made up of those chosen by God,  its very Priests, and Bishops, leaving a trail from today all the way to Peter.  I hope that those reading this, will see the truth, and search their hearts.  If God began His visible Church in this very visible way, then, are you really following the One true God, by rejecting the One Holy Apostolic Catholic Church, which is visible for all to see, if only you will look!  

Holy Spirit come and speak to us!!!!  Let your truth be out in the open for all to see, even those who could care less!
