There are some Saints that I have a personal affection for.. And Saint Anthony is one of them. I wish he were here today, as i wonder what he would say to those professing error and heresy in the Protestant and make believe Catholic Parish's that most attend in our day. What would he say to those so called Catholics of today, who say they are Catholic, yet, disobey, the most basic of Catholic Dogma's of the Church? Their very profession of their Faith as Catholics being done away with, as they say in the same breath, "It does not matter whether we be Catholic or not, all roads lead to Heaven". What would he say to those calling themselves, Pope, Bishop, and Catholic Priest, who profess the very same lie, making themselves formal,public and notorious heretics??? The very fact that we do not have Saints like Anthony today, is a testament to the darkness of our times. The voices of truth in our world are few, and truth is very difficult to find. The indifferent relativism of our world is Damning millions of souls to Hell, forever. " What Hell?", many will say. "Does Hell, Satan, or Sin really exist???" Well, if you look back just a little, you will see a man in a cloak preaching to the heretics, and telling them about Hell, and Heaven, and about the Catholic Church, the only way any soul can attain salvation. This man was Saint Anthony of Padua!!! And, I implore you Saint Anthony, please pray for us, we who are Faithfully yet imperfectly striving for Heaven, in the midst of so much darkness and error! And, Saint Anthony, please pray for heretics, schismatics, atheists, Muslims, Jews, and all of us!!! Pray for us, that we will not be lost to the pit of Hell forever, but, that we will instead gain Heaven, so that we can see the Holy Creator, face to face, eternally.
